Prayers in the three holy languages (Latin, Greek, and Hebrew) have great spiritual power and aesthetic value. Demons hate them, and the Lord is pleased by them. This may seem like mystical nonsense, but it is not. These languages were written on the Cross, and are the languages of the Holy Scriptures, and of the liturgies, writings, and prayers of the Church.
The purpose of this page is to aid in learning various liturgical prayers in these languages. May it serve as an edifying devotional aid.

While Portuguese is not one of the holy languages, it is the language in which the Virgin Mary gave this prayer to the children at Fatima. English and Latin translations are very imprecise and often change the meaning of the original prayer given by Our Lady.
